Fleur de Lis Peg Set

Produced in small batches for limited release. A set of four (4) Jean-Baptiste Vuillaume "Fleur de Lis" model pegs that resemble the pegs adorned upon the 1560 "ex Kurtz" Violin by Andrea Amati and among other historical violins.

Hellweg & Cloutier's "Fleur De Lis" model classical instrument carved pegs for Violin, Viola, and Cello. 

Installation: We highly recommend you consult a skilled luthier to install pegs on your violin, viola, or cello! It is a skilled process to fit pegs to a classical instrument that requires highly specialized training, skill, and precision machined tools in order to produce the proper fit and function to ensure generational longevity for your instrument. The pegs arrive much longer and thicker to accommodate the largest diameter holes in the pegbox of your instrument. Please check the diameter of the holes of the pegbox of your instrument or consult your luthier before ordering. We are available to answer any questions for you and your luthier.

Sustainability: These wood species are not listed in the CITES Appendices or on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species.
